Blur é uma banda de rock britânica, formada por
Damon Albarn (vocalista),Alex James (baixista),
Dave Rowntree (baterista) e,
até 2002, Graham Coxon (guitarrista).
A banda foi montada em London, em 1989 sob
o nome “Seymour”, que ao assinar com a gravadora, em 1990, foi induzida a mudar
seu nome.

Depois de anos inativa, Damon Albarn
confirma uma reunião para 2009 junto com o guitarrista Graham Coxon, para turnê
que aconteceu em várias localidades da Europa. Em 2 de Julho de 2009 aconteceu
o grande show no Hyde Park que deu origem ao DVD “No Distance Left To Run” e ao
disco: “All The People: Blur Live At Hyde Park”. Ainda é incerto um novo album
para a banda.
